The Melbourne Boomers are a women's professional basketball team based in Melbourne, Australia. They compete in the Women's National Basketball League (WNBL) and have been a member of the league since its inception in 1981. The team was originally known as the Nunawading Spectres before rebranding as the Melbourne Boomers in 2014.
